After installing Office 2008, there were three critical updates, each
seemingly replacing the previous. I believe they were 12.1.0 then
12.1.1 then 12.1.2. They were all about 150 MB in size. It's too bad
Microsoft doesn't offer a single cumulative update. Having to install
three critical updates right after installing a program doesn't
instill confidence. Furthermore, most users wouldn't think to perform
an update.

I was delayed in going on my run, so I'm finishing late and don't have
time to shower since I have a 1:30 PM interview at my home. I'll need
to return to the gym after the interview to shower and dress.

20080928su2111, elliptical workout/warmup
Because of time constraints this past week, my pre-strength training
elliptical workout/warmup sessions were shortened. On Tuesday I went
12 minutes and Thursday only 6 minutes. My strength training sessions
on these days also had to be cut short, completing only four of the
eight exercises. As the week begins now again on Sunday, I want to
complete a full workout session even if it means staying up late to do
so. My laundry is in the wash. I'll put it in the dryer at 9:30 PM
after completing my warmup/workout. Then I'll do my strength training
and shower while the laundry dries.

I was working in my office all morning and afternoon without a break.
I've been responding to some much needed emails. I was finally on my
way to the gym and then decided as I was walking that I should delay
my workout because there is a gathering today that starts at 4:00 PM,
and I don't want to be too late arriving at that. I'm really wanting
to make it to the gym today, though, because I've not been since my
strength training on Thursday. I'd planned to go running on Friday,
but it was way too busy to get my run in during the day. Saturday was
my normal day of rest. So today, at some point, I really need to get
to the gym. My workout takes about 90 minutes. So, I'll need a window
of time today when I can get that done.
